Principal's Welcome Message
|
Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year. As Principal of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School, I extend a warm welcome to all new and returning staff, students and families. We also welcome with excitement the Full Day Early Kindergarten Program.
At Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School, we will strive to always achieve our mission. Together we will work to help all students find their God given talents and then apply them to their daily lives. We will work collaboratively to provide a safe place which fosters learning and reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
We are grateful to the pastoral team at Canadian Martyrs Parish. We welcome Father Joe Selvanayagam back to the Canadian Martyrs community. Father Joe will work with our staff and students to provide liturgical activities, Masses and Sacramental preparation as we continue together on our faith journey.
I once again look forward to working with my dedicated staff. Together we will work to ensure that the spiritual, academic and extra-curricular life of Canadian Martyrs School continues to flourish.
A true Catholic School is made up of three parts; school, parish, home. We are fortunate at Canadian Martyrs School to have a vibrant, active parent community, who in partnership with school staff lead numerous events which benefit the students at our school. We are grateful for their support to work in the best interest of our students. We will continue, with all partners, to build a values-driven, caring community, which strives for excellence.
